The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Ukraine's Accession to the Strasbourg Agreement concerning the International Patent Classification"

Pursuant to the Agreement, participating States establish a Special Union and adopt a general classification the International Patent Classification.

Ukraine´s accession to this Agreement will promote international cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights; facilitate coordination of Ukrainian legislation with the international Laws in the field of rights for inventions. This will bear a positive influence of the observance of rights for inventions in Ukraine.

A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No.0087.
